In this series MUSICIANS and DANCERS, the emotions of these human beings are for MYRTHA the very core of her art. Her unmistakable style of painting makes them comes alive, by starting from the dynamic of a certain moment in time. She can depict the personnalities of well-known people as well as the unknown by targeting their facial expressions and caracteristics as well as trying to see what is behind each one's facade. " It's a huge challence for me to analyse and express intensively each of their traits, shadows, expressions, passion and uniqueness. " It takes my breath away to realize that's as if, finally, I knew them on a personnal basis! This is what I try to represent - what they appear to be in my own eyes."
